Terms of Use

Last updated October 25, 2026

1. The service

Birmingham Commercial Fence operates birminghamcommercialfence.com as an introduction and matching service for commercial fence projects in the Birmingham, Alabama area. We are not a fence company, fencing contractor, or general contractor. We do not install fences, employ installers, or perform any construction work. We connect people who submit project requests with independent local fence professionals.

2. Independent professionals

The fence professionals matched through this site are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, partners, or subcontractors. Any quote, contract, payment, schedule, permit, or warranty for fence work is solely between you and the professional you hire. Before a professional can receive a first request through this site, they must show us any license required for the work and current insurance certificates (general liability, and workers' compensation where applicable). That document check is a screening step, not a guarantee of any professional's work, solvency, or ongoing coverage. You are responsible for verifying a professional's license, insurance, and suitability before hiring them.

3. Requests and scope

This service matches commercial, industrial, HOA, multifamily, and institutional fence installations and substantial replacements. By submitting a form you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to request services for the property described. Requests identified as residential are stored for our measurement purposes and are not routed to professionals through this service. Requests for repairs, single gates, staining or sealing, or very short runs may not be routed, as this service is scoped to installation-scale projects; submitting a form does not guarantee a match, a response, or a quote.

4. No emergency services

This site is a matching service, not an emergency or security service. Indicating a "Security breach — fence down / property unsecured" on a form asks the first available matched installer to claim the request promptly, but we do not promise any response time and we dispatch no crews. If a property is unsecured or anyone is at risk, secure the property and contact local authorities or a service that provides emergency response.

5. Pricing information

Price ranges published on this site (including per-foot ranges and worked examples) are general budgeting information for the Birmingham, Alabama area. They are not quotes, bids, estimates for your property, or guarantees of what any professional will charge. Your price is determined by the professional who quotes your project.

6. Communications consent

By submitting a form, you consent to be contacted about your request by us and by the matched professional by phone, text message, and email, including by automated means. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Fees

Submitting a request is free for property owners, managers, HOAs and institutions. Fence professionals may pay fees to this service in connection with matching. Those fees are never charged to you and do not create any obligation for you to hire a professional.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false or misleading requests, submit requests on behalf of others without their consent, use the site for unlawful purposes, or interfere with the site's operation.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and service are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any work performed or not performed by an independent professional, for any quote or contract between you and a professional, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alabama.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Questions: [email protected].
